We are going to have a YEE-HAW  of a time this year at camp.

If you haven't been lately, then jump on the CAMP WAGON 

and get ready for a great ride!

Join with us in prayer to LASSO  some hearts for Christ.

Staff, let's get our BOOTS on and be ready to work with our campers.

Help Us Pray down the Holy Ghost in our services, so our campers

will grab the HORNS  of the altar, leaving camp a changed person.

Christ is ready for all those willing hearts to be BRANDED by Him.

When camp is done, I guarantee, you'll TIP YOUR HAT

to the mighty work that the Lord has done!

 

CAMP INFORMATION:

 

~Camp Dates are August 1st - August 5th

~Deadline for camp applications is JUNE 30, 2011.

       A $10.00 LATE FEE WILL BE APPLIED FOR EVERY APPLICATION THAT IS RECEIVED AFTER JUNE 30, 2011 (STAFF OR CAMPER)

       It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to turn your applications in on time.

       This gives the teachers, cabin leaders, and kitchen supervisor an accurate number of campers to buy for.

       If you do not have the tuition money by the deadline go ahead and SEND YOUR APPLICATION IN!

       If you need to pay when you arrive at camp, that will be fine!

       You will need to send in your $20 deposit with your application for the insurance to cover you on the way to camp.

       If you do not send in the $20 deposit with your application YOU WILL NOT BE COVERED BY THE CHURCH INSURANCE UNTIL YOU HAVE PAID THE TUITION UPON ARRIVAL AT CAMP! 
      The $20 deposit is REFUNDABLE!

      If you think you might come to camp - Send in your application

      If you don’t know if you can get off work - Send in your application

      If their is circumstances that could prevent you to coming to camp - Send in your application

      It is never a problem for our teachers if they have a few less children then they have planned for, but is a problem when their is more children then they planned for!

      PLEASE HELP OUT THE CAMPING MINISTRY BY TURNING IN ALL APPLICATIONS PROMPTLY!

 

~Camp Registration Aug 1st 10:00-11:30 am

 

~Camp Staff meeting Aug 1 @ 9:00 am

 

~We can arrive on the campgrounds on Sunday night, July 31st after 6:00 pm

If you bring campers with you on Sunday Night - YOU ARE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM UNTIL REGISTRATION

THE NEXT MORNING / 10:00 am!

This includes making sure they have supper and breakfast the next morning.

 

~Camp Tuition is $85 a person ($75 for staff)

Family Rates are still in affect and are listed on the application

If you have a family going that consist of staff, you will deduct $10 off the family rate per # of staff

(Ex: deduct $10 for one staff, $20 for two staff, etc.)

 

~If you would like to be in a cabin with a friend (that is only a year in age difference) please write that on your application!

 

~T-shirts will be pre-ordered.

If you would like to have a camp shirt, please fill out the T-shirt form (that is with the camp application).

ALL SHIRTS MUST BE PRE-PAID. ORDERS MUST BE IN BY DEADLINE TO RECEIVE YOUR SHIRT.

 

 

~Cabin Leader & Teacher Assistants

We are in need of Cabin Leaders, Teachers and Assistants!!!

If you are able to work in camp this year, COME ON.

 

~We always have clothes that are left at camp.

Please Encourage all the campers to HAVE THEIR NAMES MARKED IN THEIR CLOTHING.

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST ITEMS!

 

~Scrap-booking Table

We will have a binder with paper and accessories for anyone that would like to put pages in our scrap-book.

This will be set up during recreational time.

 

 

~Talent/Non-Talent Show

   The last night of camp, immediately following service, we will have a talent / non-talent show.

   A camper or staff can pay any amount of money to see another camper or staff perform or do any thing they choose.

   The amount of money can be very little (.$50). The amount is up to the camper / staff worker.

         Ex: Sis. Lovie could pay $3 to see Sis. Cassandra hula hoop for 2 minutes.

         Ex: Bro. Jacob Anders could pay $10.00 for Bro. Byers to wear a Carolina pin for the rest of the night

         Ex: Sis. Allison Lambert could pay $.50 for her cabin leader to sing “There’s a hole in the bottom of the sea”

                              If the person that is asked to perform wishes not to do what is asked of them,

                              they can pay the same amount to not do it.

        Ex: Sis. Cassandra could pay $3 to not hula hoop

        Ex: Bro Byers could pay $10 to not wear the Carolina pin

        Ex: Allison’s cabin leader could pay $.50 to not sing

 

Please let campers know in advance, just in case they want to save up their change for the last night.

All money will be donated to the camp fund to help with the expenses the next camp year!

 

~Sign-Language

Sis. Tameka Scott will be joining our camp staff team this year.

She will be working with Sis. Cassandra Byers with the Junior Campers, teaching them some songs in sign language for them to perform during nightly services.

We will also have a sign-language class set up during recreational time for the senior campers.

 

~Cabin and Grounds Cleanup

All Campers are to have all their belongings packed up the last night of camp.

The Cabin is to be clean before devotions start on Friday morning (the last day)

Immediately after devotions, there will be a grounds clean up before breakfast is served!
